Charity involvement
The Society supports local charities and good causes, taking into account suggestions from our members and staff.
The last year has demonstrated the ongoing contribution of the Society to the local community. During 2012, we donated £2,500 to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and £730 to local schools and community organisations. Our disposable carrier bag sales have now raised over £2,400 which is to be donated to the Holmfirth High School Students for environmental projects.
