Wooldale Co-operative Society

Wooldale Co-operative Society is an independent co-operative owned and run by the local community in the Holmfirth area. We operate three convenience stores each with a strong customer base and committed workforce. The Society’s strategy is to grow sales by building its role in the local community and expanding the range of more innovative and local produce. To deliver this vision we wish to appoint a General Manager to be responsible for growing sales at all three convenience stores.

The successful candidate will be directly responsible to the Board and will work to maximise the efficiency and full potential of our retail operations. A dynamic personality is required together with the proven ability to expand sales by introducing new products, effective promotions, building customer loyalty, and providing leadership for the store teams. We would be interested to hear from you if you are an experienced retail or marketing manager looking for a different challenge and the freedom to use your creativity, leadership and  experience to full effect. This opportunity may be full or part time.

Salary is negotiable.
